Free Trial Suspended Due to Abuse Issues
Due to the continued gross abuse of our Free Trial feature and the resultant protests from the producers of the films we carry, we are being forced to suspend the Free Trial feature as of now.
Since our inception, our priority has been to bring quality Bengali content to our audience at low subscription prices. Unfortunately though, to a section of new users, the Free Trial option became a magic door that allowed repeated free access to all latest releases and to exit at will. This, quite logically, is unfair to us, the producers of the movies, and to a large section of Databazaar Media patrons who have been duly paying their subscription charges.
Content owners and film producers have openly expressed their disappointment at such malpractices. We agree with them that such abuses of the system seriously affect their contents' revenue potential and in turn jeopardize the very purpose of this enterprise – to bring the latest movies to you at an unbelievably affordable price. As passionate proponents of the cause to take Bengali movies global, we are deeply disappointed that a section of the very people we want to serve, are hurting us.
We are sure this measure will bring back many content owners to our platform and at the same time would help us offer our members a much larger and refined selection of Movies, TV shows and Music Videos.
