A young copywriter of a leading ad agency in Kolkata dies in a car accident. He was driving home after winning awards at an awards night.
His single mother, Arati, flies in from Delhi to collect his ashes and other belongings he has left behind.
Once in Kolkata, Arati befriends Shahana, the art director of the agency and gets to know Ornob, the creative director, closely. From them, she learns things she did not know about her son, his secrets and relationships. She discovers that her grief for her son is not hers alone but is also shared by his colleagues and a special someone.
As her trip comes to an end, she realizes that there is more to carry home than just some tangible remains of her son. What she takes back with her are Memories in March.
